"Medical system emerging corporate business"

It's indeed, India's medical system is one of the fast-growing corporate businesses. But the question is If healthcare is considered to be a service, then why it's changing as corporate enterprises?
India is one of the largest Medical professional producing country in the world, having said this it's in the least when it comes to providing good and affordable health care. When we go back to some decades back India was poor in making Doctors and health professionals, though we had very minimal Doctors they able to provide good service in return to very nominal charges. They did this because they considered Providing health service as a service as the word itself states and saving life was the priority, but not making the money. On this planet most trusted peoples are Doctors, trusting them we give entire body for them, he should not make a business out of my body, being a doctor he should not commit a mistake, if he is doing so it's not a mistake it's utter betrayal.

There is a huge difference between SERVICE and BUSINESS, Although you earn from both, people strive to turn service into a business and giving foremost priority for making money. The only sector where there is no Transparency is the Medical Sector where we don't even know what happens inside the hospital premises after we send our loved one as a patient. Especially in operation theater once a patient was taken inside the OT we can't predict what happens in the next moment, whatever the hell happens inside we still do trust and respect doctors. If Doctor committing a mistake with one's life it's not at all a mistake but it's a murder.

In the present era, people can easily make out the difference between private and government hospitals.
Government hospital provides free/affordable health service but no quality, whereas private hospitals provide good high-quality service in return for lumpsum money. This lucrative system shouldn't exist, this can ruin people's life restlessly. In the hurry of making money corporate hospitals have forgotten humanity. Patients are treated as customers in these hospitals.

Drug mafia and Medical mafia are often heard words in the country and this is the only sector where people are afraid to raise their voice. It's really a bad fate for poor peoples who are daily wagers and getting ruined by these so-called Private hospitals which turned into corporate enterprises. We are seeing so many such examples during this Covid time. While some doctors are dying to save their patients, there are some sect of doctors who are dying to make money. And they think it's the best time for their business.
After all who is responsible for bringing this bad corporate system? Of course, It's government.

If government make sure of providing quality medical service to the peoples, why do these private hospitals exist? People are left with no option, in a hurry of saving their life, they are ready to pay whatever the amount private hospitals demand without even asking a question. Because we value a person, whereas they value money. India is among the country having the lowest public healthcare budget in the world, it spends just 1.26% of its total GDP. Whereas America spends 16% of its GDP on public healthcare. Here government takes 28% of GST on drugs and medicine, whereas Alcohol and petroleum have no GST. It's true that India charges 28% GST on life-saving medicine but there no such GST on life-killing Alcohol. Most of the scams are taking place in the medical sector of our country.

The most often seen scam in the medical sector is Health-check-up, people who are normal can not be normal after this checkup is done. "So, the process of changing a normal person into abnormal through conducting check-ups is called a Medical check-up". No minimum professional ethics will be noticed in some private hospitals, after all, paying what they demand. They started making money on the dead bodies of the victims.  It's very painful to say that some hospitals are more like hell.

After all, why it is not possible to provide free health care to all, what stoping the government from bringing free medical service in India, When our so-called political leaders are able to give 2000 per vote and TV, Fridge, mobile, alcohol, to the entire population during their election why can't they give free medical service?
India stands 1st in creating nearly 70000 doctors per year and sending for 34 different countries across the world, whereas in India overall shortfall of 76.1% specialist doctors at the community health centres in the rural areas and it standing 112th place when it comes to providing medical aid. Our country has about 57.5% of doctors who don't have a proper medical qualification.
As we don't have sufficient well-qualified doctors we are seeing the country making 5.2 million medical errors per year which is the highest in the world. Having all these severe ailments in the system no leaders are trying to cure.

It's okay if any sector is becoming money-oriented but the medical sector shouldn't. Those errors which happen in the medical sector is not the error instead it is brutal crime. Medical negligence will never be tolerated because it's the life of an innocent. At last, I firmly blame the government for all these ailments in the system. And I'm not against the doctors or medical professionals but I'm definitely against this filthy corrupt system of medical mafia and corporate medical business.

"The Healthcare system needs to be addressed as an infrastructure system for the good of all citizens rather than business enterprises".
